Polytech M14S
A Chinese made copy of the M14/M1A. Supposedly the Chinese reverse engineered it after obtaining some captured M14 rifles from Vietnam. These were then sold to the U.S civilian market by Polytech and Norinco. Note the fake flash hider with solid slots. Ironically they are more in spec and true to the original M14 than current Springfield Armory rifles. The Chinese, thanks to their cheap labor costs, they can afford to forge their receivers instead of cast them like Springfield.
Does it make a difference in accuracy? Not really but Polytech and Norinco rifles are often used as the basis for a build since they are as close to USGI specs as you can get. Although the receivers are fine, most owners replace the bolt and op rod with U.S made versions.
